3 Steps To Conquer Anxiety

Here are 3 steps you can use to defeat anxiety.

Stuck in a rut?

Feeling like you’re not achieving what you want. Maybe you’re motivated but find the goals you want to achieve too overwhelming. Your minds telling you:

“you can’t do that”

“that’s too hard”

I’ve been there and it feels horrible, trust me. GOOD NEWS i’ve got 3 life-changing tips  you can start doing today that will get you what you want in life.


If you’re anything like me, growing up with anxiety i found it hard to do anything out of my comfort zone. I thought if i stayed comfortable then i would just be just fine but that wasn’t the case, i found myself getting nothing i wanted in life.

I’ll let you guys in on something here, i used to be absolutely terrified of going to the gym i always wanted that body weightlifters had but me being skinny i was afraid to get in there surrounded by a bunch of buff dudes. Now if this is you, listen up

How did i start going to the gym consistently? I told myself:

“Today you need to get into the gym and start lifting” 

NO i did not say that, If i told myself that i would’ve been so overwhelmed i would never have gone back. So what did i do? I gave myself one small goal i knew i could achieve, i told myself that i would go and jog on the treadmill for 15 minutes it still scared me to be honest with you but it was something i knew i could do. This worked because I didn’t jump right in to my fear, i eased myself into it with a small goal. Try starting small it will make your goals so much more achievable.


After reading this blog post sit down with yourself in a quiet place, ask yourself what you want out of life. Where do you want to be a year from now? and start mapping out what steps you need to take from there.

Remember that no goal is unachievable

Sitting down with yourself and writing down what you want out of life will motivate and excite you. Literally grabbing a piece of paper and writing it down gives it so much more meaning and energy, making your goals real.

I’ll give you guys an example here so you have no reason not to do it!

I want to workout to achieve that body i’ve always wanted

-Sense of achievement

Ask yourself and be real about it, what can i do today to actually achieve this goal? If this is something way out of your comfort zone remember that you can start small and work your way up to it. I’ll use the actual example i used to conquer my fear of the gym

“I am going to start jogging on the treadmill till i’m ready for the weights, hell if the gym is absolutely terrifying then i’m just going to walk in and do 3 laps around it then leave!”

Starting small and being real with your comfort zone ill have a tremendous effect on how you look at things and of course getting over your fears


Look guys for many years i was too stubborn to ask for help or tell anyone that i had anything going on. It didn’t do me any good at all, i was trying to hide my fears, but guess what that did? Yeah you guessed it


Pick someone safe, someone you know you can trust. There’s something about being open and telling someone whats going on that will release you from your fears. Your chosen safe person will be supportive and have their input on what you should do. Being open and vulnerable with another person takes a huge weight off your shoulder. Try it!

Fill in the blanks for what you are dealing with. What a difference it makes to be open about whats going on. Do this and you’ll be on track to having the life you’ve been wanting.

TIP #1

Describing exactly how to start small with your fears and build up to what you thought you could is going to have a profound effect on on your life.

TIP #2

Being real with yourself is huge, starting off with what i did in tip #2 is pure gold. Once you do that you will instantly feel more confident and energized.

TIP #3

There’s nothing wrong with getting help from people, implementing this tip may be a little out of your comfort zone but you will like such a weight has been lifted off your shoulders.
